The Big 6 and Big 8
The craps table displays a Big 6/8 box, which refers to a bet on the Big 6 or Big 8.
It is appealing to many players, but this bet remains dangerous. The aim is to bet on a combination of 6 or 8 before number 7 appears.
If the player happens to win, they get only once their bet. The danger therefore lies in the casino advantage, which equals 9.1%.
It is thus recommended that you bet on number 6 or number 8 with the “place” bet, which allows you to win with odds of 7 to 6. The casino advantage is also considerably reduced, to 1.52%.
